Playing in Kitchener
So this whole week I have been playing Principal Horn in Kitchener. I always enjoy playing with this orchestra. The members of the orchestra are first of all so very nice, and the environment for playing is very relaxed and fine music making is task no. 1.
The program and soloists where Simon Streatfeild, conductor
Rivka Golani, viola* Beverly Johnston, percussion* the program:Skalkottas: Five Greek Dances, Christos Hatzis: Pyrrichean Dances and Beethoven: Symphony no. 7
The Hatzis piece was especially exciting and different, with Beverly and Rivka as soloists. And as always the Beethoven was a BLAST !
I love music making… :-)
